MealTime's POS Console provides a number of methods for serving customers, which are accessible using the four Current View options; Menu, Search, Photo and Queue.


All methods support Speed Mode On (serving the same meal to multiple customers) and Speed Mode Off (serving various items to customers).


Menu View

Serve the customer by:

  • scanning their barcode
  • entering their PIN using a 10-key pad or keyboard
  • scanning their finger using the MealTime finger scanner


Search View

Search for the customer by Name or PIN number, then select them to serve.


Photo Roster View

Search for the customer by Homeroom and Photo, then select them to serve.

Note! Photo Roster View requires customers be assigned to Homerooms and works best with imported customer photos.


Queue View

Queued and Served customers will be listed in the Queue View in the order they were queued (on the left) and served (on the right).

In situations where you may have two lines served by one POS system, customers may be served by scanning their barcode, entering their PIN number using a 10 keypad or via finger scanner. MealTime records each customer as they enter their identifying information and lists them in the order of entry.
