Many schools use the concept of the homeroom as a means of grouping students for administrative business. Often the homeroom is the first-place students report to at the beginning of the school day. In the homeroom they may receive important announcements or paperwork the school needs to distribute. In some cases, schools may have the children in a homeroom when meals are served.
MealTime allows you to assign students to homerooms, making it easy to rapidly serve meals by displaying photos for the homeroom currently coming through the serving line. Homerooms can also be assigned by importing the homeroom from your student information system as part of your daily student import.
