Eligibility Management

Behavior Improvement

For the first time in over a decade, the Direct Certification Import has had core logic updated to allow for duplicate records in state export files. With this update, if a duplicate record exists in the state file and there are no differences in the field data selected in the import definition, MealTime will now accept the data from the first duplicate record and reject the second duplicate record. If a duplicate record exists but there are differences in the field data selected in the import definition, MealTime will reject both records as it does now. This should not change your workflow unless your workflow includes trimming out duplicate records from your Direct Cert file prior to import. Thanks to Vancouver Public Schools for their excellent suggestion and for working with us to improve the software experience for everyone. US-3507

Eligibility Management

Interface Improvement

We’ve refined the interface related to adding students to new applications. When a student has already received a determination from another NSLP application, we show a message on this screen indicating their existing eligibility, expiration date, and determination source. With this update, we are changing this messaging to show determination source, specific determination type, eligibility, approval date, expiration date. Furthermore, we will show this information for students on current NSLP applications, agency certifications, and SUN Bucks applications. US-3513

Point of Sale

Interface Improvement

We’ve removed the component values on all food item settings pages in MealTime. These were left over from Nutrient Analysis and Menu Planning modules that have been shelved (ask us about our integration with eTrition’s excellent nutrition offerings instead!) US-3514

Eligibility Management

Bug Fix

The Verification Pending letter has been fixed to address some available parameters that did not work as expected. The letter parameters are now fully functional. BG-19101

Eligibility Management

Bug Fix

Eligibility Management users with exclusive access to this module will now be directed to the Eligibility Management home page after login instead of to Point of Sale. BG-19046

Eligibility Management

Bug Fix

We’ve addressed an issue in which students with SUN Bucks qualification could interfere with their own Direct Certification during the import process in rare circumstances. BG-19097

MTAO 2.0

Bug Fix

On some devices, the word “Welcome” was not resizing as desired, which rendered as “Welco” on some devices. This has been addressed, and all users are now warmly welcomed as they deserve. BG-19094

Our next update is scheduled for April 2026 and is expected to include the long-awaited SUN Bucks Verification feature.
