Customer accounts can be overdrawn for meal and a la carte purchases, however, the ability to do this depends upon your Customer Purchase Control settings. 


Overdraw an Account

1. Identify the Customer and select the Offering(s) to be served. When a customer has a negative balance, the Acct Bal (Account Balance) total is displayed in red:


2. Click Pay From Account:


When the customer does not have funds to cover the transaction and overdrawing is allowed, you'll prompted with an Account Overdraw message:


3. Click Yes to overdraw the account and complete the transaction, or click No to cancel. 


The Transaction Succeeded message will be displayed in orange, indicating a Negative balance:
