When serving in Menu View, customers can be purposely queued up for meal service or even accidentally queued. 


Accidental queueing occurs when you select a customer to serve, select an offering to serve them, discover you have the wrong customer and select a new customer without removing the wrongly selected customer. In this example, you must first cancel the previous customer to remove them from the queue before selecting a new one. If you do not click Cancel and customers continue to enter their PINs or scan their cards, those students will be entered in to the queue.  


The number of Queued Customers is displayed at the top of the left panel:

Serve a Customer in the Queue

1. Select the Meal or A La carte offering you want to serve:

When using Speed Mode, the selected offering(s) will be served to all customers in the Queue and do not need to be reselected for each customer.


2. Under Current View, click Queue:


3. Select a Payment Method, such as Pay From Account, to serve the first customer in the queue:


Queued customer that have been served will be moved to the Customers Served side of the Queue window:


4. Repeat the above steps to continue serving customers in the Queue.
