The Grades page of the Administration module allows you to select which grades are taught in your school or district. The MealTime application defaults to grades K-12 allowing additional grades to be added as needed.

Manage Grades

1. Select the Grade you want to edit and click Editor click Add to add a new Grade.


2. Enter the *Grade Name in the required field.


3. Enter the *Ordinal in the required field.

The Ordinal controls the sort order of the grade. For example, if the ordinal for K is 2 and 2 is the lowest numbered ordinal in the list, then K will be first. By default, MealTime assigns the ordinals of 2-14 to the grades of K-12 sequentially. With this in mind, if you need to add PK to your grades then the ordinal for that should be 1, so that it is displayed before K in the sort order.


4. Click Save to save the Grade or Cancel to cancel.
