The Verification List page provides access to view, review and remove applications that have been selected for Verification. Verifying selected applications is the second step in the Verification process within MealTime.


Once you make your selections for Verification, MealTime will automatically move those applications through the process, prompting you to print your letters and making sure that the milestones you established in your Verification Setup page are met on time. You will see these prompts in the Eligibility Management Notification Center on the home page. Clicking on the notification will take you to the action that is required.

Verifying Applications

1. Click the Selected tab to view applications selected for Verification.


2. Click on an application in the list to open it.


3. Select the Verification tab within the application:


4. Choose a Result based on the applicant's response; Respond WITH Complete data, Respond WITHOUT Complete data, Did Not Respond or Directly Verified:
If you have questions regarding the appropriateness of any of these results for a particular application, confer with your state contact. 


5. Click Edit to the right of the household member's name to make any changes required due to Verification:

6. If the original application was determined based on total income and membership, and the household has responded with documentation, enter the Household Count and Income Amount in the provided fields and select an Income Period:


6b. Check the box for Received to indicate that the information is correct.


7. Add a Note, if desired. The Notes field may be used to maintain a running dialogue for this application:
The information in the Notes field is never made public nor is it ever included in communications with the applicant. Notes are not required by default but can be set to required on the Eligibility Settings page by enabling "Require Note On Edit" under General.


8. Click Save & Verify to complete the Verification process for the application, click Save to save your progress without finalizing Verification or click Cancel to cancel:


8b. If the application needs to be removed from Verification, click Deselect.
The application will now be located under the Deselected tab.


8c. If the application is appealed after Verification, click Appeal.
The application will now be located under the Appealed tab.



Note! Use the Verification Summary Report to keep track of households involved in Verification during and after the process. This report is located in Eligibility Management > Reports > Verification Reports > Verification Summary.
