The Backdate POS Transactions page allows you to to select a past date for meal service and backdate those transactions. This is helpful for resolving improperly dated service transactions or when serving meals forward, such as in remote serving situations.

The maximum number of days you can Backdate transactions is dependent on the "Max Backdate & Void Days" setting in District Meal Service Settings. (The default setting is 30 days).

Note! If you change a student's eligibility and effective date in order to back serve meals at a different eligibility, you must wait until the next day before entering the meals for them to backdate at the new eligibility. Also, you cannot backdate meals for a day prior to the student being entered into MealTime.
